Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Okyeame Kwame, recently shared insights into his lifestyle choices during an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Joy Prime TV. The “Rap Doctor” revealed that despite being exposed to certain substances, he has consciously avoided them due to negative experiences and his desire to remain aware and in control.
Okyeame Kwame disclosed that he had only smoked on two occasions in his entire life, but he quickly realized it was not a pleasant experience. He explained that he values being conscious and aware of his surroundings, which is why he avoids anything that intoxicates him. The rapper emphasized that his decision to refrain from smoking or consuming alcohol was entirely personal and not influenced by others.
As a vegetarian, Okyeame Kwame also mentioned that he has chosen to stay away from alcohol. He reflected on his limited exposure to alcohol, stating that if he were to gather all the alcohol he had consumed over his 47 years of life, it would only fill half of a beer bottle. It is clear that he consciously opts for a sober lifestyle, prioritizing his mental clarity and well-being.
When asked about his secrets to staying youthful and healthy, Okyeame Kwame emphasized the importance of proper nutrition and exercise. He revealed that he prioritizes getting seven hours of sleep every night and practices intermittent fasting, consuming his first meal at around 10:30 am or 11am after starting his day with water infused with lemon or lime. This disciplined approach to his routine helps him maintain his vitality.
