Adansi Asokwa NPP Executives Throws Their Support For Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia To Break The “8”
New patriotic party constituency chairman for the Adansi Asokwa in the Ashanti region, Mr Kwame Owusu has on behalf of all his other constituency officers , polling stations , electoral area coordinators , council of elders , the district chief executive for Adansi Asokwa and the member of parliament have all thrown their unflinching support for the NPP presidential hopeful and the vice president Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the npp in the upcoming 2024 general elections to Break the ” 8 ” .
Speaking to journalists after Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has addressed over 500 NPP delegates who converged over the weekend at Adansi Asokwa, Mr Kwame Owusu disclosed that vice president Dr Mahamudu Bawumia through his Digitisation policy it has saved the country from losing huge sums of monies that goes to individual pockets who work in the public sector.
Moreover, the digitisation policies it has made it possible for the paperless in our various ports system making more gains for the government and the economy.
Chairman Kwame Owusu hinted that, the interoperability system of transferring monies from one mobile network to a different one has made it so easier for business transactions.
He noted that vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia experience in the financial sector has made it possible for the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo led npp government managed the economy even though there were hardship.
Recounting the achievement of the vice president, in the 2012 elections petition that resulted in the court action, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was very instrumental in standing behind the then candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to defend the new patriotic party.
Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia did all he could to support the npp even though the outcome of the elections petitions did not favour the NPP.
According to chairman Kwame Owusu the lies that were spewed by the opposition NDC against the ruling NPP were exposed by Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia which the NDC fears him when he is elected to lead the NPP in the 2024 general elections.
The Adansi Asokwa NPP constituency chairman cited instances where in the NDC the late President Jerry John Rawlings selected the late President Prof John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills as his running mate in 1996, became the vice president went to elections and won the 2008 general elections and became the president elect and sworn into office in 2009 so why cannot NPP emulate same .
Chairman Kwame Owusu further stressed that in the current global world, Ghana needs Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is experienced in the financial sector and digitisation to take over governance and maintain the NPP into government in 2025.
He said all the other presidential flagbearer hopefuls qualify to lead the NPP but, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is the one former President John Dramani Mahama and his NDC are afraid and he is the best to Break the “8 ” and no other flagbearer hopeful in NPP.
The Adansi Asokwa NPP constituency chairman appealled to the teeming NPP delegates to make the rightful choice by voting massively for Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia just as the Adansi Asokwa delegates will do to Break the ” 8 ” .
