Ejisu MP Fulfils Promise: 30 Communities Benefited From 16 And 30 Seater Toilet Facilities.
Prior to his election as Member of Parliament for Ejisu, his assessment of the constituency revealed the lack of sanitation facilities resulting in various health challenges and community development problems.
Speaking to the Matcom Media, the Ejisu NPP elections and research officer
Dominic Danquah said in fulfillment of the Member of Parliament, Hon John kuma’s commitment to his constituents, 30 communities came out to have major challenges when it comes to accessing toilet facilities, as a result of that he started putting up ultra modern seater toilets, bathrooms and boreholes for these communities in the constituency of which ranges from 16 seater to 30 seater facilities.
Out of these, 9 has already been completed and commissioned. The beneficiary communities whose facilities has been completed and commissioned are Bonwire, Besease, Boankra, Donyina, Akokroamon, Ejisu Akyeremade, Ejisu Bonwire Station, Akyawkrom and Essienimpong.
This makes it a total of 9 already completed beneficiary communities whiles construction is also ongoing in another set of communities of which progress of work ranges between 60% to 80%.
Daho is part of the communities which are yet to have their facility completed and commissioned. The contractor is currently on site and the project will be completed in no time.
These projects have been done in partnership with private companies and funded 100% privately.
