The decision by Joseph Tieyiri to support the people of Oforikrom in the Ashanti region has been greatly acknowledged by the chiefs and people in the area and thus commended him for his dedicated service.
As a football fanatic and administrator, entrepreneur, philanthropist and research scientist, Joseph Tieyiri has used his personal funds to support children the youth and the aged in the Oforikrom Municipality, providing them with funds to cater for their health needs, sports kits to promote sporting activities and tools and systems to encourage the youth to learn vocational skills among others
He’s the leader and founder of The Joseph Tieyiri Project (TJTP) a non-governmental and nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively for giving back to the community through donations and contributions towards education, health care etc. TJTP is a household name in the Oforikrom Constituency and since 2015 has contributed immensely to support them and changed many lives. Residents of Oforikrom describe Joseph Tieyiri as the father of the constituency who has dedicated himself to support the needs of the people, even with the little funds at his disposal.
TJTP’s operations hinges heavily on the UBUNTU concept which talks about supporting one another for a better world tomorrow. In short, it’s all about HUMANITY. He has built a reputation for himself through a well-crafted 12 strategic thematic approach called the “The TJTP Mandates” through which the people of Oforikrom are benefiting and witnessing.
Joseph Tieyiri was recently honored by the GES Directorate in the Oforikrom Municipality for his enormous support and contribution towards education in the Community.
As a true indigene of Oforikrom. Joseph Tieyiri was Born, raised, schooled and has lived all his life in the constituency. Through his philanthropic contributions he has been involved in almost every social, economic, political and cultural activity happening in the constituency and as a result has earned him a nickname “The People’s Champion”.
The people of Oforikrom love him dearly and he’s a mentor to many. The people of Oforikrom believes he’s an individual with so much vision and potentials to bring many good things to them in the future.
He’s established a name for himself and his legacies will forever remain irrespective of which government is power. He’s the Star of Oforikrom indeed and it’s out there in the open how he’s loved by his people.
