NPP Concerned Youth Of Upper Denkyira West Picks Parliamentary Form For Daniel Appinim
Concerned Youth of Upper Denkyira West of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) last Sunday picked Nomination forms for Mr Daniel Appinim to contest the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the party at Diaso, the District Capital
Mr Joseph Quansah the NPP elections Commitee Chairman for the constituency explained that, the party is one family and since the forms have been presented to them they have to go about their campaign with decency devoid of insults.
He said, after picking the forms, the Committee will invite all contestants to dialogue on clean and transparent campaign.
He advised the Youth who picked the forms to engage in violence and insults free campaign since the elections are going to be at internal one so as to protect the party’s image.
The leader of the youth, Mr Jonathan Nkrumah said the aim behind the picking of the forms for Mr Appianin was born out of his selfless service to the people in the Constituency.
According to him, despite his selflessness service, is not enough to win the parliamentary seat…however, collective as members of rue constituents coupled with his preparedness to enhance development will also rest on the soldiers of the populace.
According to him, Upper Denkyira is one of the orphan Constituencies therefore, needs a vigorous campaign to enable the NPP recapture the seat.
Receiving the forms, Mr Appianin promised to work together with all delegate to the benefit of Upper Denkyira West as a whole.
He expressed gratitude to the youth for picking the forms for him.
He noted that, there are rules and regulations guiding the forms and asked the them to support him to capture the seat to the benefit of all the electorates.
Mr Appianin is an astute public servant with over twenty (20) years of experience.
He worked in the Ghana Education service, tutoring Economics and Business Management in various Senior High schools in the country and rose through the ranks to the position of the Assistant Director 1 in the service.
He holds his Masters Degree in Port and Shipping Administration and a Bachelor of education, social sciences. (B.Ed. Social sciences).
Mr Appianin is seen by many in the region as someone who is staunch in grassroots politics and could easily annex the seat back from the NDC.
