Herbal Practitioner Urges Government To Consider Wiping Out The Use Of Poisonous Chemicals For Farming
Odihunufo) Doctor Peter Gyamfi ,a herbal practitioner at Bebu- Adumasa in the Atwima Kwanwoma district of the Ashanti says , the government should help wipe out poisonous substances used in our farming activities and vegetations.
He stressed that , the usage of poisonous chemicals has killed most of our vegetations which will have a ripple effect on generations to come. ” Our plants and trees use for medicinal purposes are all being wiped out all because of some people’s selfish interest with the quest for money, if care is not taking this will have a ripple effect on generations to come.” He said
He said the usage of these chemicals weakens the plants and trees used for herbal products in eradicating diseases. ” The chemicals we put in our vegetations bring us heart problems and all kinds of diseases you can mention of due to this is better we use charcoal ash to prevent any misfortunes” he said.
Odiifour Peter appeal to the government should stop importing all hazardous chemicals into the country and put good measures in place for us to protect our herbal and vegetations.
Sofo Maame Deborah who happens to be the wife of Odiifour Peter also advices the women that they should stop eating fast food but rather have time as woman to cook nutritional appetite to eat. “Even some food we consume expand our womanhood but if you get time to prepare it yourself it will help your own health” she said.
