Chief Of Dunkwa On-Offin Epressed Worry Over Recent Murder Cases…Calls For Immediate Intervention
The Chief of Dunkwa on offin in the Central region, Okofrobour, Dr, Obeng Nuakoh III on Sunday at the Akwaseidae Festival Celebration at Dunkwa expressed concern with the recent number of murders going on in the country.
He explained that, something has to be done about this menace since it does not put Ghana,s name at the right position.
The Chief noted that, in the older days some marriages were dissolved for over 10 years but later comes together and continues with it after settlement without any news of murders.
He told the media that, a murder case has just some few days ago happened at Dunkwa where a man has slashed the neck of his wife or girlfriend at Dunkwa even through they not hail from the area
Okofrobour Dr, Obeng Nuakoh use the occasion to call on our politicans to do away with insults during the campaigns to bring peace to the country.
According to him, if we are going to seek political power with insults and insinuations to govern the county then it should be left to traditional rulers to govern like in the olden days.
The Chief who is also the Chairman of Dunkwa Farmers Association (DFA) appealed to the government to resource farming for the youth to go into it to make it lucrative.
He also advised the youth especially the ladies to do away with indecent dressing in the public and dress decently to earn respect when they go out, Okofrobour used the occasion to extend his profound gratitude to Anokyewaa Foundation for her donation of Sanitary Pads to some school girls municipality.
He therefore sent an appeal to those who have it to follow the step of Anokyewaa foundation and receive God blessings End
