A/R-Emena:Chiefs Slaughter Sheep To Dispel The Anger Of The gods Over Grave Exhumation (Contact)
Barely a month when it was reported that a developer( Asante Akyem Domeabrah Manhemaa) has built a house on a portion of the Emena cemetery land, decided to destroy a portion of the graves to create a road to her house.

The action of the developer angered the youth in the community who embarked on demonstrations and presses conferences that compelled the chiefs and people of the area to stop burying their dead at the cemetery following the exhumation of the graves which exposed human skeleton sparks fear and panic in the area.
Through this, the Abusuapanin, Kwabena Boateng and elders of the community have sacrificed sheep to purify the deity and the dead to succumb to the burying of their dead.
Speaking to the media after the sacrifices, the Aduana-Abusuampanin, Kwabena Boateng said, the purification is in the good direction to appease the gods.
However, the exposed human skeleton have been carried away by unknown people of which he warns them to return the skeletons or face the wrath of the gods.
According to the Assemblyman of Emena Boadi Kokoben Appiadu, Hon. Kenneth Owusu Bediako, despite the unthinkable incident that occurred by the developer, it has also helped the community leaders to put in place structures that are aimed at regulating its development and land requisition.
