We Cannot Be Cowed Down To Any Intimidations-Ken. Agyapong Team Member
A campaign team member of Hon.Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in the Ashanti Region, Lawyer William Kusi lauds the entire team especially Hon. Kennedy Agyapong for the good fight exhibited during the Special Delegates Conference.
Lawyer Kusi estimated that, despite the infractions during the elections, they stood firm together and they were able to place second among the four contingents.
He however started vividly that Kennedy’s team would not be cowed down to any intimidations, “We will show whoever will try to downplay the chances of Kennedy Agyaping because they are not going to take chances lightly.
The guidelines that the election committee sets for elections, most of these guidelines were violated yet, the committee seems not bothered with the assertion that the infractions were not reported to them. The question team Kennedy seeks to ask is; Who reported Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s “Showdown comments” to the party and he was invited?
The lawyer explained that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong did not threatened anybody. Showdown means “agro ne fom”. To wit I will beat you to the game”…and that does not instigate threat.
If the party want a level playground for the game, incidents relating to inducement, security lapses and physical attacks during the special delegates’ election should be investigated.
The party leadership and other contestants should see the need to be transparent in order not to translate that on November 4.
Hon. Kennedy Agyapong believes in equal treatment, fare, and transparency but he would not kowtow to any denigrations from anybody.
