Hon. Frederick Korankye Admonished Youth To Embrace Social Media Positively

The Municipal Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi East Municipality, Hon. Frederick Korankye (ADWUMAWURA), on Friday, September 29, joined Roman Catholic Youth from various Parishes under Wassa Akropong Deanery for the annual congress held at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Wasa Akropong.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Frederick Korankye first and foremost acknowledged the dedicated work being done by the youth in the church.
He admonished the youth to embrace social media positively and refrain from acts that promote indiscipline in Ghanaian society.
He again challenged the youth to take full advantage of the Government’s flagship program the Free SHS or receive skill training to guarantee them a brighter future and become useful to themselves and the society at large, Hon. Frederick Korankye donated Ghc2,000 to support the programme.
The special occasion also witnessed the presence of Hon. Helina Appiah- former MCE for WAEMA, Dr Tony Aubynn – Board Chairman- Amenfiman Rural Bank, Nana Kofi Amankwa- NPP- Amenfi East Constituency Chairman.
