The residents further disclosed that a distance of ( 20 ) minutes drive will take a motorist ( 1 ) hour and more to its destination because the roads are not in good shape .
Apart from that according to residents, businessmen and women who have to come and sell their goods on every Thursday to the people Mpohor to enable the district assembly to generate revenue for developmental purposes has also declined because of the bad nature of the roads .
Moreover investors who want to come to establish their businesses to create employment in the Mpohor district and also for the assembly to generate revenue from their businesses have also decided not to come until the deplorable state of the roads are tackled and fixed into a better shape .
This newspaper made several efforts to get in touch with the District chief executive for Mpohor, Hon Ignatius Asaah Mensah to react to the concerns raised by the residents over their bad road network but it proved futile whereas the member of parliament for Mpohor, Hon Kobena Saani , could also not be reached for comment.
Meanwhile the residents disclosed to this paper that their MP has made several efforts as his political party is in government to get the deplorable state of the roads fixed but the Roads and Highways minister, Hon Kwasi Amoako Atta is not addressing the issue .
