Amenfi East MCE Pledged To Partner Traditional Authorities For Development.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi East Municipality, Hon. Frederick Korankye (Adwumawura) on Monday, November 6, 2023, joined the Royal family and the people of Wassa Mampong to officially outdoor the newly enstooled chief, Nana Kwabena Gyejie I
The colourful event was well attended by people from all walks of life including chiefs from Wassa Amenfi Traditional Council, Politicians, Business Gurus, Clergy, Reps from the Islamic community and the Media.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Frederick Korankye thanked Tetrete Okumoah Sekyim II- The Omanhene of Wassa Amenfi Traditional Area, The Royal family, Ghana Police service and the good people of Wassa Mampong for ensuring a very peaceful atmosphere for the event. Hon. Frederick Korankye pledged his unflinching support to the newly enstooled chief in all developmental programmes.
Hon. Frederick Korankye again urged *Nana Kwabena Gyejie I* to help promote good farming and responsible mining within Mampong enclave in oder to safeguard the source of livelihood for the people of Wassa Mampong.
Nana Kwabena Gyejie I also expressed his profund gratitude to the Municipal Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi East- Hon. Frederick Korankye for his dedicated and selfless leadership. He took the opportunity to thanked Hon. Frederick Korankye for connecting the good people of Wassa Mampong, Ajumako, Boyekrom and Asensasu to the Rural Telephony (GIFEC PROJECT)
Hon. Frederick Korankye donated Gh2,000 to support the programme,
