According to some NPP big wigs , vice president Dr Bawumia has over the years created a very peaceful religious coexistence networks with Muslims and Christians in the country than any other vice president that the country has ever had .

The NPP big wigs appealed to both NPP NEC and the vice president Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to consider Apostle Dr Opoku Onyinah as the running mate for the NPP flagbearer.
