I’m Grateful To Delegates Even Though I Lost The Parliamentary Primaries – Dep Forestry Commission’s CEO
A Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission NPP Martha Kwayie Manu has shown her gratitude and commended NPP delegates in the Juaboso constituency of the western north region for the peaceful manner they conducted themselves in the weekend parliamentary primaries elections held in Sefwi Juaboso even though delegates failed to give her the nod.
According to Hon Martha Kwayie Manu, Juaboso NPP delegates chose someone they wish can wrestle the parliamentary seat from the NDC Hon Kwabena Minta Akandoh come the 2024 general elections.
Hon Martha Kwayie Manu secured a total votes of 275 against her main contender Dr Alex Ampaabeng who also secured a total votes of 372 votes to emerge victorious.
Speaking to the press after conceding defeat, the deputy CEO of the Forestry Commission expressed his gratitude to the entire Juaboso NPP members, delegates, faithful and sympathisers for their support for her all these years and that she will offer her total support for Dr Alex Ampaabeng, the parliamentary candidate elect so that come 2024 general elections the parliamentary seat that has been in the hands of the NDC for years will be won by NPP.
Hon Martha Kwayie Manu commended the District chief executive for Juaboso, Hon Godfred Kwabena Agyei, the entire constituency executives, polling station officers, electoral area coordinators as well as the council of elders for their respective roles they have put up in making sure the great new patriotic party is very attractive in the Juaboso constituency.
Hon Martha Kwayie Manu appealed to her teeming NPP supporters and her followers to always remain very calm though she lost the contest and team up in unity to work very hard in snatching the parliamentary seat in 2024.
