Organized by Teachers for Planet Global Community, the platform sought to put the spotlight on education policy and implementation plans in the context of climate change
Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh joining the discussion made the point that, teacher leadership and collaboration with policymakers must be at the centre of the design and implementation of the future of climate education actions.
Climate education policies informed by teachers, he said, will be better climate education policies for all stakeholders.
The sector minister Shared the platform with the Minister for Education from Portugal, H.E Joao Costa and other panellists, providing key policy perspectives on this important subject that has far-reaching implications for the global future.
