NPP Former Bosome-Freho Chairman Sues Kwame Asafo – Adjei Ayeh Over His Legitimacy To Contest The Parliamentary Primaries At Kumasi High Court.
The former Chairman of the ruling party , NPP, Mr Yaw Amoah has sued the parliamentary aspiring for the Bosome Freho Constituency, Kwame Asafo-Adjei Ayeh contesting his legitimacy to contest the seat at the Kumasi High Court.
Mr Yaw Amoah Gyamih, the Plaintiff / Applicant is a former New Patriotic Party ( NPP ) chairman for Bosome Freho constituency from 1992 – 2013, a native of Asiwa District capital of Bosome Freho born and raised in Asiwa.
The plaintiff argues that the 1st defendant, Kwame Asafo-Adjei Ayeh’s father is known as Mr. Nartey who hails from Ada and resident in Akosombo and his mother name is Yabo Kabutey who is a member of the Krobo tribe and resident of Akosombo hence, the 1st defendant cannot be deemed to have hailed from Asiwa as stated in his nomination forms and that he cannot be allowed by the 2nd defendant, ( constituency Chairman-PP), 3rd ( Regional chairman), and 4th defendant, (National chairman) to participate in the vetting process.
