Parliamentary Candidate Hopeful Supports Asawinso Mosque Refurbishment
The incoming parliamentary candidate hopeful for the Sefwi Wiawso Constituency in the Western North Region, Hon Festus Bumakama Agyepong honoured the invitation of the Muslim community in Asawinso to grace their Fundraising Program to refurbish their mosque.
Festus leveraged on the event to re-echo the need for Muslims and Christians to sustain the peace and unity they have enjoyed over the years as the nation heads into the polls in December.
Buma pledged his unwavering support to the Muslim community in Asawinso and made some cash donations.
He later joined the Graduation ceremony of dressmakers, garment makers, beauticians at GPRTU lorry terminal.
At the ceremony, Buma promised the new graduands of his burning desire to grow their businesses and made an undisclosed amount of money to support the graduands.
Buma spoke enormously on the importance of TVET education and pledged to contribute his quota toward improving the sector.
