Things Fall Apart In NPP: “I’m Forming My Own Political Party”- Nana Obiri Boahen
The recent internal wrangling of the ruling party, NPP is grading deep within the rank and file of the party.
After the Vice President and flag bearer of the party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia outdoors his campaign team, the party has not had any peace.
However, a staunch member of the Vice President during the presidential primaries, and former deputy secretary of the party, Nana Obiri Boahen believes the party and Dr Bawumia did not treat him fairly and threatens to form his political party in the subsequent days to come.
Nana Obiri Boahen told King Tom TV reporter, Sarfo Oheneba in an exclusive interview intercepted by matcommedia.com, that Nana Obiri Boahen estimated that Dr Bawumia and the party did not appreciate his contribution and it’s time to spill the beans.
“I’m going to form my political party and no one can stop me. After the announcement of the campaign team, many people including lawyers called me and pledged to finance me”…they should have their party.
How can you form a campaign team without regional balance, I’m out of the NPP to canvas votes for my party and they can say whatever they want to say, I’m out.
