Another Independent Candidate Files Nomination Forms To Contest Ejisu By-election
Mr Fredua Agyemang a Pentecost Elder and resident of Ejisu-Tikrom has joined the race to next the seat of Parliament for the Ejisu Constituency.
Filling his nomination forms to contest the by-elections as an independent candidate, he told the media that, the people are calling for change and the change cannot come from a delegate leader but someone who is down to earth with the people and he believes contesting as independent candidate will bring the change to them.
Thwarting on his popularity and his policy for the constituency, he admitted that he has been in the civil service for 35 years and is a local person with rich experience as a technical person and connected with the church. However, he has a very bright chance of winning the seat.
According to Mr Agyemang, development in the constituency is lacking, and he would focus mainly on education and health which are paramount to the people and he will commit to ensuring that development is given to his people when elected the MP.
He, however, appeals to the constituents to vote massively for him to lead them come 30th April 2024.
