The Founder and Leader of New Jerusalem Chapel situated at Asokoban Ampayo has called on Christians especially Ministers to speak through the power of God with truth and devoid of falsehood in their quest to serve God holistically.
Bishop John Yaw Adu popularly called, J. Y. Adu, gave this advice on the premises of his church auditorium at Asokoban Ampayo on Sunday 14th July 2024 during a baptismal service.
Preaching the sermon, he cautioned the Inky priesthood to use the word of God as a tool to save lives instead of criticizing those who heal the masses through the power of God.
“I will continue on the path of healing and saving the sick using the divine power of God, that’s how God blessed me with”. I don’t care what people will say about me.
However, he was quick to note that, he is not doubting the work of medical doctors, and not all sickness can be healed by medical doctors but it takes the power of God.
In his quest to baptize 15 persons who were healed of various kinds of sicknesses like; madness, and spiritual attacks among others, J. Y. Adu quoted the book of Mathew 5: 43 to buttress his points averred that, as a man of God, you have to believe in your own self-esteemed in serving God and humanity so as for people to have faith and trust in your work.
After the 15 patients were baptized and cast away from their sickness, they expressed appreciation and testimonies to God, Bishop J. Y Adu, and the congregation for saving their lives and pledged not to revisit their old lifestyle.
