Bodi DCE And NDC Galamsey Kinpin Fingered In Illegal Mining Activities, As Fear Grips Residents Over Machomen Attacks

A deep-throat source of information available that matters to the people of Kwasikrom, a community in the Bodi District of the Western North Region has it that, the president representative at the Local Government Level, (District Chief Executive), Hon. Akwasi Amankwah and one Naasei who is believe to be member and finance of the opposition party NDC have been engaging in activities of illegal mining using “machomen” to orchestrate their evil work.
Naasei is alleged to be a galamsey kingpin and he is untouchable as a result of the DCE’s influence.
The president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who has beat his presidency on galamsey activities committed all forms of force to stop illegal mining activities with the help of his appointees, some of them have thrown overboard the president’s directives and actively influenced the illegal mining activities in their districts and one of these appointees is the Bodi District Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Akwasi Amankwah.
This was revealed by a miner named (withheld) expressing fear and panic of possible chaos because the DCE has paid a death ear to the complaints of residents about the rampant attacks of “Machomen” been sponsored by Naasie, the galamsey kingpin.
The whistleblower further alleged that the DCE is using his office to intimidate miners and residents in the name of fighting illegal mining. The police who are mandated to ensure such activities are curbed, the DCE who is the chairman of the DISEC, is playing the ostrich…lacing out with Naasei using Chinese nationalist and “machomen to Destroy water bodies and forest reserves”.
“The DCE is behind the actions of Naasei because, Chinese nationalists who were engaged in the galamsey, the police try to stop them but the DCE intervene and set them free because Nanasei is using them”.
The matcommedia.com made an attempt to reach the DCE on the telephone to authenticate the allegations level against his person proved futile.
