Briefing the media about his unannounced death, he reveals that, Apostle Godbless Boateng is from the Aduana family and a native of Kokobra, a community near Ejisu-Fumesua in the Ashanti Region.
The one-week observation will take place at Crop Research Institute (Forestry Park)-Fumesua on the 17th of August 2024 starting 6:am to 6:pm.
On his behalf, the associate pastor to Apostle Godbless Boateng, Reverend Gladys Owusuwaa Anson gave a brief background of Apostle Godbless Boateng, saying: He is the founder and leader of Cornerstone Bible Church International (CBCI).
According to her, he started his ministry years back at Oforikrom where she joined him as a member.

Then, he was called Pastor Justice till he adopted the name Apostle Godbless Boateng through a vision. Apostle Godbless Boateng was a true man of God, divinely called to serve God and humanity…even though it’s heartbreaking to hear about his demise considering his unwavering relationship with the people, it’s hard to believe he’s not part of us again. However, we all have to take a heavy heart not to lose guard of our faith.

The late Apostle Godbless Boateng who knew what he was doing and how he intended to spread the word of God, trained so many men and women of God into the ministry amidst open so many branches across the length and breadth globally. This core ministerial agenda, it’s a sign for the church and the family to collectively in one voice observe and celebrate him.
Again, Apostle Godbless when he was alive, his prime objective was to ensure the ministry grew. Thus, efforts would be facilitated to ensure what he left behind continues to grow to please his soul.
