Prof. Jane Naana Paid A Curtesy Call On Otumfuo As Part Of Her Regional Campaign Tour
The running mate for the National Democratic Congress, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has paid an official visit to His Royal Highness Otumfou Osei Tutu II yesterday.
The visit is form part of her Campaign tour in the Ashanti Region.
The running mate was escorted by the regional chairman, Augustus Andrews and some national executives to the Manhyia Palace.
His Royal Highness, Otumfou Osei Tutu II used the visit to remind her about her professional Campaign sytle and encouraged to maintain such level of campaign
He encouraged her to let humility and respect for othersto guide he4 political journey, just as he witnessed during the time she was the Vice Chancellor at the University of Cape Coast.
Otumfuo also said his doors are open to all parties.
He emphasised the importance of free and fair elections in ensuring that all candidates accept elections outcome gracefully.
Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang also expressed her gratitude for his wise counsel and asked for his continued guidance.
That not said, the running mate also had a result-oriented conversation with Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, who urged her to advocate women’s issues as we approach the December 7
elections.
