Suspend Oforikrom EC Director As You Did To Pusiga EC Director- Papa Jay To EC

The Oforikrom National Democratic Congress Conmmunication Officer in the Ashanti Region, James Jerry Sukah popularly called Papa Jay has called on the Electoral Commissioner, Madam Jane Mensah to as a matter of national interest act swiftly and suspend the Oforikrom Municipal EC director as they did to Pusiga EC director for similar voter transfer.
Papa Jay made this known on Akoma FM in Kumasi when he revealed that, the figures the party received from the Municipal EC of the 2023 voter transfer were 200 but when the album came an extra 5 votes were added totalling 205 transfer voters instead of 200 voters.
In the 2024 voter transfer, the EC announced 723 transfer votes, and 61 special votes totalling 784 votes. That not said, when the album came, the number jumped from 784 to 971 votes transferred when the EC gave the album to the NDC.
James Jerry Sukah underscored that these voter irregularities, as far as Oforikrom Constituency is concerned, are not different from Pusiga and other constituencies which led to the suspension of the Pusiga EC director and he demands the same to be meted out to the Oforikrom EC director.
“All these are issues bothering the party in the constituency and very soon, the party will organise a press conference to press down their grievances about the register.
Papa Jay alleged that the misconduct of the EC does not need any soothsayer to tell you that the EC is in bed with the ruling party…however, the NDC party in Oforikrom will respond to the EC in due time.
