Alhaji Sinare Dares NPP Not To Attempt Rigging The 2024 Elections
As the 2024 general elections are urging closer, the political landscape is heating up with various stakeholders voicing their concerns and expectations for a fair and transparent process. One prominent figure is Alhaji Said Sinare, the Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Zongo Caucus.
Alhaji Sinare boldly challenged the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to attempt rigging the elections which reflects a broader demand for transparency and accountability in the democratic process.
Addressing party supporters in the Subin Constituency during their campaign launch, said this year’s elections are critical and the NDC will not afford to lose the elections through rigging and intimidation or whatever from the NPP.
“The NDC shall match the NPP boot for boot and any attempt to manipulate the elections will have dire consequences on Ghanaians”.
Alhaji Sinare’s assertions were a result of growing fears that the NPP seeking to extend its tenure in power, through underhanded tactics to secure victory, Alhaji challenged is to remind the electoral commission, the NPP that, if they had the mind of rigging the elections, they should reverse their notes because it won’t serve their interest.
The 2024 elections are set to be a defining moment for the country and the electorate’s expectations are high for change thus, any ill move to hamper the outcome of the results, the NDC will not treat it with mercy.
Alhaji Sinare however underscores the need to respect the will of the people as expressed through the ballot and those votes must be limitately counted.
Alhaji Sinare advised the NPP not to make any silly attempt to rig the 2024 elections since it highlights a critical need for transparency, fairness, and accountability in Ghana’s democratic process.
