Embracing Autism: It’s Not A Curse- Frimpees Palace Foundation CEO To Parents
Autism is a developmental disorder disease that affects how a person communicates, interacts with others, and had been misunderstood by society. It’s time to shift the narrative from viewing autism as a curse to acknowledging it as a unique aspect of human diversity.
Autism is often mistakenly portrayed as a tragic affliction that needs to be cured or fixed. This perception overlooks the strengths and unique qualities that individuals with autism possess.

Frimpees Palace Foundation is a non-governmental organization that seeks to facilitates measures in supporting children with “Special Diseases”.
According to Nana Frimpomaa, her prime objective behind the formation of Frimpees Palace Foundation is as a result of how her autism daughter prove beyond every doubt that, being an autism does not mean you are out of societal respect. In her quest to taking care of her daughter comes with huge responsibilities coupled with family and frineds pressure, it takes the kind hearted mother to understand the situation.
Through all odds in accomodating the public insults and outcry, did not put of her ambitions but rather motivated and today a foundation is launched to take care of autsim children.

Speaking during the launch, Nana Frimpomaa averred that, having ceiled through the struggles and trauma, the little she can do is to support in this diverse way.
Madam Nana Frimpomaa in an a follow-up interview with the media after the programme, used the occasion to appeal to the government through the Ministry of Health to come to the aid of autism children with medications and other medical suppliers to help taking care of them.
“Autism is not a curse; it is simply a different way of experiencing the world. Just as each person has their own strengths and challenges”.
The president of Prestigious Ladies Club (PLC), Madam Akosua Afia Sarpong donating cash to support Frimpees Palace Foundation, expressed the outfit commitment to support Madam Frimpomaa to achieve her agenda. She however tasks parents that are facing challenges in taking care of their “Special Children” to see their situation as a huge responsibilities and understand their wards conditions.

On her part, Madam Cecilia Sarkodie also hinted that, PLC will be looking forward to working with Frimpees Palace Foundation to ensure her agenda is achieved. Additionally, she used the event to appeal to the general public to also come to the aid of autism children to help manage their conditions to become part of society.
