I Will Ban Kofi Boakye From Ashanti Region If He Dares Me-Chairman Wontumi
The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the ruling party, NPP, Mr. Antwi Bosiako a.k a Chairman Wontumi has chastised the former DCOP Kofi Boakye and threatened to ban him from the Ashanti Region if he (Kofi Boakye) did not stop his agenda to train people ahead of December 7th presidential and Parliamentary elections.
Addressing party sympathisers during a walk in the Subin Constituency, Chairman Wontumi threatened to deal with DCO Kofi Boakye (retired) if he fails to refrain from the violence pathways and dare to disturbilize the credibility of the election, he will show him where power lies.
“Kofi Boakye is a nation wreacker, and if any gun shot during the election, I will hold him responsible”.
He averred that, it seems Kofi Boakye has suddenly forgotten how I thought him a lesson when he was the Ashanti Regional Commander. If he doesn’t know, I will make sure he (Kofi Boakye) suffers the consequences.
The Regional Chairman was quick to remind supporters that, no one should mistakenly try to vote for the NDC, because Mahama will cancelled the Free SHS policy he wins power…he allegedly claimed.
According to him, the only party that has a track record when it comes to developing of this counrty is the government of Nana Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Hence, urging Ghanaians to have confidence in Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia presidential ambitions and vote massively for him to continue on the good governance of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the NPP.
Thwarting the achievement of the NPP in the Ashanti Region, mentioned road network as a sector that have received significant facelight in the region than any political party in Ghana’s history.
He underscored that, Dr. Bawumia’s administration will introduce Free Tertiary Education for students and what they need is to take their Ghana card go free.
“We cannot allow the NDC any opportunity to lead Ghana because, they will retrogress the country’s development”.
On his part, the incoming Member of Parliament for the Subin Constituency, Lawyer Obiri Yeboah launds the rank and file of the party for their unwavering support and urged them to continue working hand in hand with united voice to secure a resounding victory in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
