98 District And 2 Zonal Psychiatric Hospitals Started And At different Stages of Completion-Dr. Nsiah Asare
The Presidential Advisor on Health, at the office of the President, Anthony Nsiah-Asare has revealed to journalists that Agenda 111 hospital initiative, 98 out 100 district and 2 zonal psychiatric hosiptals have started and at different stages of completion while others above 90%.
Addressing student Nurses at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi during a programme organised by “Bawumia Professionals Connect”, Dr Nsiah-Asare outlined several projects started by the NPP and continued projects that have been completed highlighted the party’s track performance in the health sector since the NPP came to power. He revealed that Nana Addo Bawumia’s prime objective is to provide affordable and accessible healthcare delivery to Ghanaians.
However, the Agenda 111 initiative is to address and facilitate reliable health-related issues for the people of Ghana.
That notwithstanding, the gogovernment’slans to acquire 50 acres of land sizes became a problem in some districts of the Ashanti Region due to the land nature, unlike the northern part which has flat land.
Despite these few challenges including court issues of some of the lands acquired, the majority of the 104 active projects are near completion and very soon the president will commission those projects into use.
The government of Nana Addo has continued to compete the Eurojet projects that were started by John Dramani Mahama signify how imperative the health sector matters to him.
He however used the occasion to entreat nurses and the general public to see the importance of maintaining the NPP government by voting for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the December 7th Presidential and Parliamentary election.
