A Letter Of Reminder To Welcome Dr. Bawumia Into Oforikrom Constituency About His Promises
“Mr. Vice President and flagbearer of NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, we the people of Oforikrom Constituency believe this letter of Reminder finds you in good faith”.
We the good people of Oforikrom Constituency and members of the opposition party shall continue to remind you and your Boss, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that, the Oforikrom constituency is still waiting for their fare share of the national cake.
In a press release signed by the constituency Communication Officer for the opposition NDC, Jerry James Sukah chastised the government of Nana Addo Bawumia for their abysmal performance in the constituency started unequivocally that, enough is enough of the lies and deceitfulness of the NPP government who have taken the lives of Ghanaians for granted.
According to Papa Jay as he’s known by many, eight years down the line, Nana Addo Bawumia, who are master technicians of lies and propaganda, promising aiminglessely without shame, the people of Oforikrom are demanding accountability and equal share of the national cake.
Stressing lenghtly, the mouth watering promises of the president and his younger brother, who blatantly promised to give $1 million dolars to every constituency, 1D1F, 1V1D, we are reminding him that, Oforikrom Constituency have not received his albatross promises.
“Leadership is about integrity and truthfulness”, but these qualities have eluded Nana Addo abd Bawumia to extent of lying to God of building a Cathedral for God.
Having being informed about the intentions of Dr. Bawumia’s visit to the Oforikrom constituency, I deem it a privileged to let Dr. Bawumia be aware that, the people of Oforikrom are angry after their hopes have been dashed into the gutters for failing to fulfil the above mentioned promises.
That not said, the Oforikrom constituency is believed to be predominant stronghold of the NPP yet, bad leadership of Dr. Bawumia and his father, common traffic light at Opou transport junction had been broken down for years, poor road network, bridge at Bomso gari factory area has not been fixed, CHIPS Compound at Kentinkrono has been abandoned including healthcare as factors retaring the development of the Constituency.
“Eight years of NPP government led by Nana Addo Bawumia, unemployment situation in the constituency had compelled the youth to engage in anti-social acts that when not tackled, the image of the constituency would be retrogressed”.
Mr. Sukah reiterated that, Nana Addo and Dr Bawumia significantly without shame retrogress the forward match of Ghana where corruption and nepotism has become part and parcel with them injecting suffering on the people.
“If Nana Addo and Dr Bawumia has suddenly forgotten about their campaign message in 2026, I remind them of ” Ghanaians are suffering, teachers are suffering, nurses are suffering, yeti sika so, akom dei”…what is the state of Ghana today? Price of goods are skyrocketing, most people can have three square meal a day.
Jerry James Sukah went ahead in the press release raised concerns about security threat that may associate with the constituency due to large chunk of the unemployed teeming youth.
He noted that, despite the abysmal performance and failed promise of the NPP, campaigning in Oforikrom by Dr. Bawumia will be an affront to the constituents after his unguarded statement that the Ghana Card worthy than 1000 interchanges answered the neglecting of the Oforikrom Interchange and there not be any room for him to campaign in the constituency.
The people of Oforikrom Constituency have had enough. We refuse to support a government that lied to our face and abandons us. We will not be swayed by the hollow words of a failed Vice President who has turned his back on us, only to return now for votes. The NPP has taken our loyalty for granted, delivering nothing but empty promises, neglected projects, and utter disregard for the well-being of Oforikrom Constituency
